Wonderful World Prize Draw

A big Thank You to everybody who contributed towards the Foundation’s major fund-raising project ‘Wonderful World’.

Pollyanna’s Summer Exhibition, inspired by her travels in Transylvania was her most successful ever, and the Pollyanna Pickering Foundation raised a total of £5660.00 through a percentage of sales, Prize Draw ticket sales and donations to help wildlife conservation.

The winning ticket in the grand prize draw was drawn in August by actor Leslie Grantham, best known for is iconic role as ‘Dirty Den’ in Eastenders.

Between the sales of prize draw tickets, tickets, and percentage of sales donated by Pollyanna from the “Wonderful World” exhibition, the Foundation has so far raised £4,900.00 for the current campaign. The money will be used to continue work on building a tiger orphanage in Nepal, in association with the Bill Jordan Foundation.


Mrs Greaves from Leicestershire is the lucky winner of the first prize of this original painting of a tiger (above). The full list of winners is :
