The Art of Conservation Companion Book

To accompany the exhibition ‘The Art of Conservation’ the Artists for Conservation Foundation have published a show companion book.

It is designed as a coffee-table book – 10” square, hardbound, and is printed in full colour, on certified environmentally friendly paper, approved by the Forest Stewardship Council. The book features paintings and sculptures included in the exhibition – including Pollyanna’s canvas of a red panda shown on the previous page – as well as additional chapters about the work of the AFC and the chosen charity for the exhibition, the WCS. In addition the book highlights the flag expedition programme – and there is an entire chapter dedicated to Pollyanna’s 2007 fellowship expedition into Bhutan.

The Wildlife magazine Wildscape, who were the UK media sponsors of the international exhibition have a limited number of copies available priced at £25.00 + £4.50 p&p. To order call 01227 464739 or email info@wildscapemag.co.uk
.
The book is described as “setting a new standard in quality as a show companion and is testament to the quality of the show and the dedication of the organisations involved.”, and has been described in reviews as “unique and Beautiful”. Proceeds from the sale of the book support the AFC .

Artists for Conservation have announced they will also be publishing Pollyanna’s sketch journal of Bhutan as a deluxe leather bound limited edition book.
