Secret World Book

Pollyanna is delighted to be one of several celebrity contributors to the forthcoming book ‘Secret World’ which tells the story of the remarkable wildlife rescue centre run by Pauline Kidner in Somerset.

The book takes a photographic journey from the sanctuary’s beginnings as a dairy farm, to a charity-run wildlife hospital, and tells heart-warming stories of success in the care of animals. Other celebrities sharing their photographs and recollections of Secret world include Desmond Morris, Simon King, Chris Packham, Valerie Singleton and Wendy Turner.

Pollyanna has contributed her memories of the centre along with sketches of some of Pauline’s six week old baby badger cubs, which she helped to hand-feed during a visit last Spring. The book is due for publication before Christmas this year, and we hope to have copies for sale at the exhibition in November.
