Pollyanna is recognised throughout world for her detailed and atmospheric paintings of wildlife. Many of her works are the result of arduous journeys into remote and often hazardous parts of the globe - from the High Arctic to the heat and humidity of the Central American Rain forests.
For her most recent commission however, Pollyanna only had to brave the shops of Knightsbridge! Harrods, the world's most famous department store have commissioned Pollyanna to design an exclusive range of gift ware. Over 15 items featuring her paintings of cats and dogs are currently on sale in the souvenir department on a wide range of gift ware from tote bags to fine china mugs and even tea pots! For the most recent additions to the range, Pollyanna has created the delightful character of Harry the Harrods bear, who is already starring on aprons, tea towels, mugs, t-shirts and tote bags. The new designs were launched last month in the prestigious London Store.
"It is very flattering to be commissioned by Harrods" Pollyanna commented " these designs are such a contrast to my usual work, and it has been great fun to be asked to paint something so different and light hearted".
