The founder of the Born Free Foundation Virginia McKenna OBE described Pollyanna’s travels in China as “An unforgettable and perhaps unrepeatable journey exploring a different culture and a different land.”

Visitors are welcome to join The Rotary Club of Hazel Grove’s evening with Pollyanna share the story of this incredible journey to study and paint one of the world’s most endangered species in its natural habitat.  Share in everything from the hardships and frustrations to the lasting friendships made in this enigmatic and beautiful country, and enjoy the spectacular award-winning paintings which resulted  from the expedition.

A lavishly illustrated book about the trip has been published – and Anna-Louise was honoured to be a finalist in Cosmopolitan’s Woman of the Year Awards for her writing and photography – and both Pollyanna and Anna-Louise will be hand to sign copies of the book after the event.

Guests can opt to enjoy a meal as part of the evening, or purchase a ticket just to attend the talk if preferred.

Details : Pollyanna is pleased to include recent original artwork in The Association of Animal Artists fifth annual exhibition to be held in this charming gallery.

The exhibition encompasses three whole galleries, for AAA artists to fill with their depictions of animals in all mediums and styles, as they explore and enjoy their creativity. Set in beautiful parkland in the historic town of Frodsham, the Centre houses three galleries, craft units, and workshop rooms. The Gallery is open Monday- Saturday – 10.00am- 4.00pm and Sunday: 1pm to 4pm.

There is also a café serving tea, coffee and light lunches

Details: Pollyanna is very excited to be retunring to the Create and Craft TV studios this for the launch of her brand new paper crafting collection – featuring her paintings of Family groups of big cats!

She will be appearing in the studio alongside demonstrator Lynda Chapman to talk about the real life animals which inspired her artwork, while working on a selection of paintings live on camera – and might even try her hand at card making on air!

The  one-hour specials will be broadcast at 4.00pm & 6.00pm – and look out for repeat showings after 10.00pm, as well as on the sister channel Craft Extra throughout the day.
