Details : Pollyanna is honoured to have been invited to be part of this unique event, which will be hosted by Sir Ranulph Fiennes OBE and Colonel John Blashford-Snell OBE. Explorers against Extinction aims to highlight the threat of extinction to some of Africa’s most iconic species including elephant and rhino. Join us for an entertaining evening as leading explorers, adventurers, wildlife artists, experts and conservationists, come together to make a stand against extinction. The evening will end with a Q&A on conservation hosted by BBC presenter Nicky Campbell.

The evening is in aid of two conservation partners, each one pivotal in the battle against extinction ; Animals Saving Animals who focus on prevention.  by training and deploying specialist anti-poaching dogs to squads across Africa protecting elephant, rhino and lion and
The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust which celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2017. This pioneering conservation organisation rescues and rehabilitates orphaned elephants and is dedicated to the preservation of endangered species and the protection of habitats.

Pollyanna will also have artwork included in the hugely successful Sketch for Survival exhibition, which also includes  original artwork and sketches kindly donated by famous wildlife artists and celebrities in support of the charities. Artwork will be on display at the event, following a two week exhibition in a central London gallery.

Stanfords, the world’s biggest and best map and travel book store will also be staging a pop up book store at the event.
